Job description
We are looking for a Driver AND Driver Assistant to join our team FOR KISSIMMEE/LAKELAND AREA & DRIVER ASSISTANT FOR ORLANDO. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing support to the driver, including loading and unloading cargo, monitoring the condition of the vehicle, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift heavy objects. Responsibilities:
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading of cargo.
- Ensure that cargo is secure and properly stored in the vehicle.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety.
- Provide assistance to drivers with navigation and route planning.
- Maintain accurate records of all trips and deliveries.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and locations.
- Timely and accurate delivery and installation of appliances within set customer timeframes.
- Ability to accurately use our mobile app to properly document confirmation of delivery and/or exceptions.
- Ability to follow complex installation instructions as per manufacturer specifications to complete installation of
Refrigerators, Dishwashers, Microwaves, Washers, Dryers, etc.
- Loading and unloading with the assistance of an appliance dolly and/or shoulder straps.
Previous APPLIANCE delivery and installation experience is preferred but not required. Individual must posses the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment when needed. If you are detail oriented, self starting, and work well in a team environment, this position is right for you.
