WLW Construction Inc. is a well established Complete Site Development company serving the Central Florida market since 1991. WLW Construction Inc. is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to our team.
The Superintendent will be responsible for Managing & Coordinating various Site Development Crews, Suppliers / Vendors, Subcontractors, Logistics, and Sequencing, while providing Seamless Communication between Field Staff & Project Management / Estimating Team.
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Overall Crew and Site Operation SAFETY
- Production Assurance
- Oversee, Clearing, Earthwork / Dirt, Pipe / Utility, Grade, Base, and Punch-Out Crews
- SWPPP and Environmental Compliance
- Daily Equipment Upkeep, Reporting, and Communication with Fleet Staff
- TopCon GPS Setup & Basic GPS Machine Troubleshooting
- Various Dewatering techniques required for Excavation / Utility installation
- Weekly & Monthly Planning & Forecasting
- Utilization of AGTEK Earthwork Takeoffs to Plan & Execute, Productive / Efficient Job-Site Excavation
- Daily & Weekly Production Monitoring & Reporting
- Reduce Idle Time , Ensure Proper Equipment Utilization
- Monitor Equipment Cycle Times & Load Counts
- Coordination with Field Staff & Foreman on respective projects
- Coordination with WLW Survey Team as needed
- Communicate project needs with Project Management Team
- Coordination with various Subcontractors – Dewatering, Sodding, Retaining Walls, Trucking / Hauling, Concrete
- Meet / Coordinate with Testing & Geotech firms to ensure Project Conformance
- Coordinate various Logistic Needs – materials, equipment, aggregates, etc.
o Assist with WLW Fleet Dispatch, Lowboy Transport, Various Dump Trucks, Fuel Truck, any vehicular needs
- Coordination / Communication with Municipalities, Engineers, Owner’s Reps as required
- Efficient & Productive Coordination of all Excavation, Grading, Underground Utility, Roadwork, Concrete, Paving and Site Prep techniques
- Continuously Review Plans to Ensure Accuracy and Total Completion
- Communicate with Local Municipalities to ensure compliance with Standards
- Review work in place for completeness & quality

- Construction Certifications – OSHA30, SWPPP Inspector, MOT Certified, Competent Person, etc.
- TopCon GPS Experience
- iPad Experience – Reporting & Timekeeping
- Strong Leadership, by example with Positive Attitude
- Desire to Teach
- Team Oriented
- Computer Proficient – including Microsoft Project / Office, Bluebeam, Outlook
o HCSS & AGTEK knowledge is a plus
