Roofing Estimator/Sales Representative

We are a “Repairs and Maintenance” Employee-Owned Roofing Contractor looking for an Estimator/Sales Representative that can generate leads, build client relationships and identify opportunities for roof repairs, maintenance and roof coating solutions. Candidate will be required to create the estimate takeoff, inspection report, proposal and present to the customer. The candidate will also possess strong verbal and written skills. Have social media knowledge. Minimal supervision is expected, self-accountability and sales activity reporting is required. Candidate should be motivated, outgoing, detail-oriented, a good listener, focused, a team player and a people person.

Primary Function:

This commercial estimating/roofing sales position requires someone with general knowledge of all types of commercial roofing, including repair methods and maintenance strategies and a desire to work in a sales position.

Typical Duties: Commercial Roofing Sales

Ability to use a web-based application for company business.

Gather accurate information, take pictures, create a budget, inspection report and generate a proposal.

Be able to qualify potential customers & projects.

Create viable leads.

Social Networking/Social Media

Join organizations and attend meetings and social events, such as BOMA and/or IFMA.

Requirements:

4 + Years of experience in commercial roofing, especially in roof repairs, maintenance and roof coatings.

Familiarity with commercial roofing systems, including repair methods and maintenance strategies.

Valid Driver's licenses and reliable transportation a MUST. A pick-up truck is required since this position will require you to carry ladders on your truck.

Bi-lingual preferred but not required.

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.

Functional computer skills.

Have some knowledge of Hoovers, SalesForce, or other lead generating/lead tracking software.

Self-starter

Tracking the sales process with SalesForce.
