Local Marine Contractor is looking for a responsible experienced Barge Operator to run our barge and equipment. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in Marine Construction. Must be able to run a barge and set piles, boatlifts, etc. experience must be 5 yrs minimum. Attention to detail and high-quality work is a must.
The prospective applicant would be a multi-faceted individual who can think on their feet and always be looking for problems before they arise. Punctuality is a must.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of company-assigned crew
Lead a crew of 1-2 team members on a daily basis
Operate vehicle and equipment in a safe manner
Be responsible for vehicle/tools maintenance and care
Follow all company's procedures and protocols
Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
