Position Overview:
As a Cabinet Installer at Still Cabinet and Design, you will be responsible for the professional installation of cabinets in various settings, including kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial spaces. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure that all installations meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Efficiently and accurately install cabinets and related fixtures according to provided
blueprints, specifications, and industry best practices.
- Preparation: Prepare and measure installation sites to ensure precise cabinet placement. This
includes handling and transporting cabinetry and tools safely.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, address
any concerns, and ensure a positive experience throughout the installation process.
- Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure it meets our quality standards and adheres to safety
regulations. Make necessary adjustments or corrections as required.
- Collaboration: Work with project managers, contractors, and other team members to
coordinate installation schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal
performance and safety.
Qualifications:
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be licensed and insured for
cabinet installation contract work.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cabinet installation or a related field. Proven
ability to handle various types of cabinetry and installation scenarios.
- Skills: Strong understanding of cabinet construction, layout, and installation techniques.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on detail and craftsmanship to ensure high-quality
installations and customer satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during installation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and maneuver heavy cabinetry and tools. Comfortable
with standing, bending, and working in various environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Relevant trade certifications or technical training in cabinetry or carpentry.
- Technology: Familiarity with modern installation tools and technology.
Compensation:
- Contract-Based Pay: Compensation is based on a contract per project or job completed. Rates
will be discussed and agreed upon prior to each project, considering the scope and complexity
of the job.
