JOB SUMMARY:
Contours Landscape Solution is looking for a qualified service mechanic to maintain and repair company small equipment, mowers and fleet vehicles. This position reports directly to the Branch Manager or Management to meet or exceed goals while supporting field operations staff and overall proper function of equipment assets. Work involves proper planning in managing day-to-day activities and inventory management of all equipment and truck assets of the company. In addition to enforcement of company policies specifically to safety and proper operation of all equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Diagnose and repair 4 cycle and 2 cycle small engines, diesel engines and Hydraulic systems used primarily in the lawn
and garden industry.
-Responsible for the care and use of fleet and equipment assets.
-Managing equipment utilization on projects, equipment storage and care.
-Ensure that repairs to equipment and vehicles are reported to management timely.
-Ensure best use of tools and equipment efficiently to ensure project completion.
-Provide timely and quality repair without re-work.
-Adjust components according to specification
-Source and order parts for repairs
-Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts
-Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used.
-Work with management to track all expenses for equipment, ensuring proper entry of time, use of material expenses for
company financials
-While performing the duties of this job, the employee can be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather.
-Shop is provided, some larger tools available by company.
-Basic tools to perform repair work will be employee's responsibility. Secure tool storage will be provided by employer
with mechanic access only.
-Days and Hours of work are Monday through Friday, Work time is afternoon &
evening hours for ability to work on equipment 11-8 PM.
-Additional evening or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
-Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 3+ Years in management service experience for commercial landscape maintenance
equipment
-Needs to be self-motivated, team player and results oriented. Able to work in a fast-paced work environment, multi-task
to meet schedule deadlines with limited supervision.
-While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently inspect the project and may be exposed to
ongoing various conditions.
