Abacus is looking for an Installer to work in Theme Park Construction. Our team Installs fabricated elements to be placed on an active construction site.
Level I: Hourly Rate of $15.00 - $18.00:
-Use of a wide-range of industry-standard hand tools and equipment during installation and maintenance.
-Ability to read and understand written procedures which apply directly to job duties.
-Novice skills and familiarity with typical carpentry hand tools, power tools and applications.
-Assists in the operation and maintenance of air compressors and various power and hand tools.
-Assists in the handling and installation of show set components in shop and field.
-Help handle material, move equipment, jobsite clean-up and utility runner as needed.
Level II: Hourly Rate of $17.00 - $22.00
-All tasks above and proficient skills and familiarity with typical carpentry hand tools, power tools and applications.
-Reading blueprints/sketches to determine location and methodology of installing components.
-Good knowledge of rigging equipment used to connect and secure the load to a lifting device (wire rope slings, nylon slings, eyebolts, U-bolts, and other attachments).
-Assist with the rigging operations and preparing the loads to be moved.
-Inspect the rigging equipment to ensure it is safe and undamaged and cleaning, dismantling, and storing the rigging equipment after every use.
Level III: Hourly Rate of $20.00 - $25.00
-All tasks above and expert skills and familiarity with typical carpentry hand tools, power tools and applications.
-Experience with FRP, Carpentry, and Metals.
-Applying lath and/or backing using fasteners and hand/power tools.
-Assist with rigging and staging.
-Coordinating with the other team members when loading and moving goods.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (6am - 2:30pm) OT Available
Pay Rate: $15.00 - $25.00 hourly - PAID WEEKLY
