Abacus is looking for outstanding FRP Fabricators to work in Theme Park Construction for one of our top clients in Orlando, FL!
Days/Hours:
6am – 2:30pm (MON-FRI) Overtime Available
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Level I: Hourly Rate of $18.00 - $22.00
-Roller / Lay-up
-Performs structural and cosmetic fiberglass and carbon fiber repairs to a variety of props, show figures and miscellaneous theming parts.
-Build and repair show and theming elements such as rocks using a variety of materials such as concrete, fiberglass, epoxy, polyester and other resins, urethanes, plastic, wood and metal
-Working with urethanes, water based, oil based, stains, lacquers, epoxies, etc.
-Molding materials including resins, silicone, fiberglass, etc.
Level II: Hourly Rate of $22.00 - $27.00
-Resin application
-Layup schedule
-Gel coat
-Mold prep
Level III: Hourly Rate of $27.00 - $30.00
-Chop gun
-Lamination
-Knowing all FRP production process
Qualifications:
-Previous experience working with Fiberglass.
-Commitment to, and working knowledge of, workplace Health, Safety, Environment & Quality
-Must have good planning and time-management skills.
-Ability to prioritize materials manufacturing and work with internal clients.
-Strong knowledge of painting machinery and techniques
-A personal values system demonstrably consistent with organizational values
-Ability to be punctual and dependable.
