SurfaceHero provides cabinetry installation and repair services to new home builders in Celebration, Reunion, Davenport, Haines City, Winter Haven, Poinciana, and Lake Alfred area.
We are looking for 3 Cabinetry Service Technicians to perform minor installations and general service repairs across all our cabinetry product lines.
Cabinet Service Technician (Level 1) Responsibilities:
> Perform service repairs, adjustments or replacements as needed for newly installed cabinets and finish trim to satisfy SurfaceHero's builder customer requirements.
> Develop extensive working knowledge of SurfaceHero's products.
> Determine through inspection, if necessary, the extent of a service issue as requested by builder service representatives.
> Repair, replace or adjust cabinets and cabinetry components.
> Touch up and repair paint and stain surfaces on cabinetry.
> Assist in warehouse or with deliveries as needed.
Cabinet Service & Technician (Level 1) Requirements:
> No previous cabinetry experience or power tools necessary. Will train the right candidate. (Some experience is a plus.)
> Keen sense of attention to detail.
> Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Bilingual with Spanish is a plus.
> Working knowledge of computer systems and email, and ability to learn company specific software applications for job assignments and completions.
> Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
> Ability to excel in a deadline driven, fast paced work environment.
> A valid Florida Driver's License and a clean Division of Motor Vehicle record.
> Must have reliable transportation to our warehouse.
Cabinet Service Technician (Level 2) Responsibilities:
> All responsibilities included in Level 1 plus:
> Must know how to read a tape measure efficiently.
> Must have advance skills adjusting doors, drawer glides/tracks, drawer faces, fillers, & more.
> Ability to hang wall cabinets and install base cabinets, change face frames and install fillers.
> Repair, replace, install Crown Molding, Shoe Molding, Baseboard, Scribe, and Toe kick.
> Ability to safely operate all necessary power tools (Miter Saw, Table Saw, Jig Saw, Nail Guns, Powered Drills etc) is required.
Cabinet Service & Technician (Level 2) Requirements:
> All requirements included in Level 1 plus:
> Proven 3yrs or more field cabinetry/trim installation or cabinetry service technician experience. (Experience with new construction builders is a plus.)
