Evolve Bicycles & E-Bikes is a small but busy, full-service bike shop in Celebration, Florida looking for happy, customer service-oriented, passionate-about-bikes people to be part of our fun, growing team.
We are currently looking for a full-time BICYCLE MECHANIC. You either need to have experience repairing bikes or have exceptional mechanical skills and be an extremely fast learner / self-starter. We would also prefer someone who has an interest in bicycles / is a cyclist.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writing work orders with accurate cost estimates
- Performing repairs from minor fixes (flat tires) to complete overhauls
- Assembling new bikes
- Interacting with customers regarding repairs and maintenance (and occasionally sales & rentals)
- Performing other tasks assigned by shop/service manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year of bicycle mechanic experience (this can be working on your own bike)
- Good people / customer service skills
- A respect for shared work space and attention to detail (neat and organized)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A good work ethic (arrives to work on time, ready to work hard)
- Must be able to work Saturdays
