Job Responsibilities
Hang wires as needed for support of acoustical ceiling grid.
Attach wall molding to wall.
Measure and layout ceiling according to plans or drawings.
Suspend main grid supports, and cross tees according to layout.
Cut tiles for fixtures such as lighting, sprinkler heads, cameras and borders.
Work in agreement with others as a team member.
Requirements
Acoustical ceiling installation experience required.
Reliable means of transportation. Must be able to transport a scaffold and tools.
Ability to work individually and as a team player
Ability to access all areas of jobsites, which can include stairs, scaffolding, ladders, and elevation changes.
Ability to work in positions that to include kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting, bending, stooping, and twisting.
Ability to move, carry, or position items weighing up to 85 pounds.
Ability to read and understand project blueprints.
