The Petition Circulator will be responsible for collecting signatures in support of marijuana legalization or reform efforts. This role involves engaging with the public, explaining the petition’s purpose, and ensuring signatures are gathered in compliance with legal requirements. Experience is welcome but not required—training on marijuana reform and petitioning will be provided.
Location: Central Florida (Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Lake, and Brevard Counties)
This is a temporary position.
Key Responsibilities:
Approach individuals to gather signatures for the marijuana petition.
Clearly explain the petition’s purpose and importance.
Ensure all signatures are collected following state and legal guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of signatures and report progress regularly.
Assist with other campaign tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with the public.
Ability to work independently and meet daily signature collection goals.
Knowledge of marijuana reform issues is a plus, but not required.
Reliable transportation to travel within assigned counties.
Training will be provided for all aspects of the petitioning process and marijuana reform.
