Plant Nursery/Greenhouse Order Pulling Supervisor
Job summary:
Knox Horticulture is seeking a motivated Plant Nursery Order Pulling Supervisor to join our Finished Plants department. This position is part of a team that handles the sale and delivery of finished annual plants to customers throughout Florida. Primary duties will involve answering Knox Horticulture staff/salespeople and customer inquiries. This position is responsible for overseeing all order pulling activities and sales support, taking pictures, texting or emailing crop specifications and producing a weekly availability of plants ready to sell or close to being ready to sell. Strong candidates for this position will have 1+ years of experience working in a nursery and ideally be bilingual in English and Spanish.

We are located on 33 acres in Winter Garden, FL.
Our production processes make extensive use of automation and computer technology, including RFID tracking of plant trays from production to shipping.
We use the Eco-friendly EZ-Pot System to significantly reduce the use of traditional plastic pots thus saving our customer money, while providing our customers with plants that have a healthier root system, resulting in faster planting rates for our customers.

Essential job duties include:
Duties include, but are not limited to, locating and retrieving plants, instructing crew on pulling orders correctly based on pick tickets, with attention to detail of plant quality and shipping out the best product for the customer. All while serving customer pick-ups and deliveries.
Perform weekly inventory on all available plants and conduct plant stock rotation.
May work on special projects as time permits.
Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize orders.
Candidate must be able to work outdoors in the elements. Position requires walking, standing and lifting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Functions as a liaison between the order pullers and Customer Service Reps and/or internal company departments to help resolve service issues including inventory availability and shipping details.
Has strong English communication skills. Bilingual English & Spanish is preferred.
Self-driven, organized, and able to prioritize multiple projects.
Must be able to follow-through and complete responsibilities.
Flexible to a changing sales and service environment.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work outdoors in landscape bedding area to evaluate crop condition and count inventory.
Schedule Requirements:
Our standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8am – 4:30pm.
Some Saturday work may be required during busy times.
Other Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation.
