Job Summary: Assemble and weld (MIG welding) metal products according to written or oral specification and/or drawings.

Essential Duties:
- MIG welding for various metal products - must be able to pass qualification test to be hired
- Assemble general orders using drawings, diagrams, or instructions
- Operate drills, paint gun, and other hand tools to fabricate products
- Operate saws, iron worker, drill press, and all other pieces of equipment as needed for fabrication
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, adhesives, or other fasteners. Paint as required
- Assemble wooden pallets for shipping
- Maintain and clean equipment
- Move material for storage, staging, or other purposes using handcart, forklift, manual handling, or other means
Qualification Requirement:
Must pass an AWS D1.1 2022 welder qualification test for production welding within 30 days of employment.
Other preferred skills:
- Mathematical - ability to perform basic mathematical functions used for measurements, ability to read tape measure
- Technical - Ability to read and understand simple drawings used in assembling products. Capable of safely and effectively using tools such as wrenches, drills, saws, etc.
- Physical - Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
