Courier Express is looking for a Warehouse Associate/Dock Worker. The primary position we are looking to cover will be from 12AM to 6AM Monday through Friday.
The purpose of the position is to participate in the sorting and loading of incoming product out to drivers. The right individual would be a self-starter and work well with limited supervision and always incorporate a sense of urgency and great attention to detail in daily operations.
Primary job duties include:
Prepare scanners for receiving of product and handle troubleshooting issues
Document returns, miss sorts, and unreceived product.
Utilize various machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks to organize product in the warehouse.
Manually move, prep, and sort product, occasionally loading it onto freight trailers.
Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
Personal skills required may include:
Ability to multitask, highly developed organizational skills,
Ability to interact with other employees at a variety of levels
Ability to lift and carry at least 70 lbs, ability to stand, twist, squat, and bend for long periods of time
Consistently punctual, excellent communication skills, rapid response to issues, attention to detail, ability to communicate needs or issues.
