We are looking for an experienced and versatile Skilled Trades Technician to join our team for projects in the Orlando and Daytona areas. The ideal candidate is a true jack-of-all-trades with strong skills across multiple areas such as carpentry, painting, drywall, solid surface work, and general facility repairs. This is a full-time, 1099 contractor position, with work scheduled primarily overnights and weekends.
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of facility and retail environment repairs, including carpentry, drywall, painting, and finish work.
Troubleshoot and complete tasks independently to meet project needs.
Read and follow drawings, work orders, or project specifications.
Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Communicate clearly with project managers and clients on-site.
Ensure all work is completed on schedule and to a high standard of quality.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in general construction, finish work, or facility maintenance.
Skilled in one or more trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, cabinetry, solid surface, etc.), with ability to handle cross-trade tasks.
Ability to work independently and adapt to different job types.
Must be available for overnight and weekend shifts.
Based in or able to commute to the Orlando/Daytona area.
Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
