WE NEED A MECHANIC or EXPERIENCED HELPER TO ASSIST AT OUR REPAIR SHOP/CAR LOT
Need a mechanic or experienced helper to work with customer cars and cars for sale. Tires, brakes, radiators, etcShop is owned by an ASE Master tech and the manager is a very skilled technician so we do not need someone to diagnose and repair every problem on every car. We need a guy to change parts and be part of the team. We need a guy who has worked in a shop and is familiar with using car lifts, tire machines, etcWe do not want to train someone who is not experienced in a shop environment. We do want to hire somebody that we can train to be a part of our system. We have been in the same location for 15 years, and we have a system that works very well. We have Snap On scanner, brake lathe, tire machines, TPMS machines, R134 machine, 3 lifts, etcA mechanic or helper with tire store experience etc is what we need.
TYPICAL WORK WEEK IS 42-50 HOURS, WE PAY OVERTIME FOR OVER 40HRS, PAY IS HOURLY AND VERY STEADY AND BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND PRODUCTION. 1ST 90 DAYS IS TRAINING/LEARNING/PROBATION. PAY RAISE AFTER 30-90 DAYS IF ADVANCING. PAID HOLIDAYS AFTER 90 DAYS. 1 WEEK PAID VACATION AFTER 1 YEAR. MOST HOLIDAYS PAID OFF. WE ARE A 15 YEAR COMPANY IN THE SAME LOCATION WITH 4.5 TO 5 STAR REVIEWS ON YELP AND GOOGLE. THESE POSITIONS PAYS $800 to $1300 PER WEEK.
This position requires a person who hustles, and can change gears quickly. This is a fast paced, busy operation and we need someone who wants to stay busy, work and/or learn many areas of automobile repair and reconditioning and be in the car business. Must be able to learn quickly and be able to move from task to task quickly. Ideal candidate MUST be clean and organized. THIS IS A FAST PACED JOB.
