Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on diesel engines, including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Repair and replace faulty components, such as fuel injectors, turbochargers, transmissions, and brakes.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and rectify complex engine issues efficiently.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Provide exceptional customer service, explaining repairs and recommendations clearly to clients.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably with a focus on heavy-duty vehicles or equipment.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, including knowledge of engine management systems and emissions control.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment, as well as technical manuals and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical stamina and dexterity to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy parts and equipment.
Relevant certifications or vocational training in diesel mechanics preferred.
