JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors and a strong background in landscape design, maintenance, and construction. This role involves working closely with our design team to bring landscape concepts to life, maintaining the health and beauty of existing landscapes, and ensuring all projects meet our high standards of quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the design team to understand project specifications and prepare sites for landscaping.
Install various landscape elements such as plants, sod, mulch, and hardscapes (e.g., pavers, retaining walls, water features).
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers) safely and efficiently.
Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, and fertilizing.
Identify pest and disease problems and apply appropriate treatments to protect plant health.
Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Provide exceptional customer service, including answering client questions and addressing concerns promptly.
Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to stay current with landscaping trends and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as a landscaper or in a similar role (minimum 2 years).
Knowledge of horticulture, plant identification, and landscape design principles.
Proficiency in using landscaping tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret landscaping plans and drawings.
Strong physical endurance to perform labor-intensive tasks under various weather conditions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in landscaping or horticulture is a plus.
