Our client, Seminole County Public Schools, is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join the custodial services team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various school facilities within Seminole County.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties on campus, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming as needed.
- Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners.
- Sanitizing and re stocking restrooms.
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other surfaces.
- Responding promptly to cleaning requests and urgent matters.
- Maintaining cleanliness of hallways, classrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Operating custodial equipment and machinery safely.
Qualifications:
- Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass the level 2 background check and badging process required for all locations
- Ability to pass in-office drug test
- Capable of following instructions and working independently.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina needed to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects if needed.
- Flexibility to work in the afternoon and evenings (this will open up the most opportunities for you).
