Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Mechanic to work with us. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance across various makes and models, especially newer vehicles. You will have access to all the necessary tools, although you are welcome to use your own if you prefer. Our focus is on quality over speed, and we aim to complete each job correctly on the first attempt.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks.
Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to work on all makes and models, with an emphasis on newer vehicles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive starting pay of $25 to $28 per hour. Hourly rate could be more based on your skill and qualifications. That is actual hours worked on a vehicle not book time. Although if you can do the job quicker than book time you will payed on the book time. It's a win win.
