Assist with the day-to-day coordination of HR processes, programs and initiatives including but not limited to recruiting support where applicable (Apprentice Program), new hire onboarding, data entry of employee changes, benefits administration, background checks, MVR’s and E-Verify.
Responsibilities
Manage sensitive and confidential information
Maintain records and files in accordance with state and federal laws
Process new-hire paperwork in a timely manner
Monitor and control HR Box
Responsible for assessing/hiring individuals for the Apprentice Program
Respond to all internal inquiries
Assist with recruiting
All other duties as assigned by management
Required Qualifications
1-2 years as an HR Assistant in a busy work environment, construction or trade a plus
Ability to maintain confidential information
Experience with ADP Workforce
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Must multi-task
Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
STRONG computer skills
