This roles is responsible for ensuring all technicians and other supporting roles within our Service Centers are adequately trained to provide premium aftermarket service to our customers. This role will oversee the development and deployment of tiered based training programs, ensuring sufficient technical abilities across our Transport Service Centers in North America and involves travel throughout North America. This role will also partner with Service Center leadership to identify skillset gaps within Transport Service Centers and develop action plans to address. Oversee the development and deployment of structured, tier-based technical training program for Flygt technicians, with support from Learning & Development and technical subject matter experts.
Work closely with Service Center leadership in identifying training deficiencies within our existing Service Centers and develop action plans to address.
Ensure all Transport technicians are sufficiently on-boarded and actively progressing through tiered-based training programs.
Support the development of standard operating procedures pertaining to in-shop repairs, start-ups and field repairs, in addition to administrative activities performed within the Service Center, i.e. scheduling, procurement, workorder processing, quoting, etc…
Oversee Service Max software, ensuring alignment to business/customer requirements.
Manage a team of two (2) individuals, providing guidance, feedback and support.
Align with Product Management to ensure new product development is sufficiently supported for aftermarket service.

Qualifications:
5 years related experience working in the field of waste water projects and products.
High School Diploma required. Continued education is preferred, but not required.
Strong working knowledge of the theories governing the operation and application of various Flygt and other relevant Xylem brand products is preferred.
Working knowledge in water/wastewater processes, including pumping and various treatment equipment
Experience with ServiceMax, Steeb is a plus
Experience with electrical control panels, VFD’s, PLCs, SCADA systems and other electronic systems and instrumentation is preferred.
Strong leadership, prioritization and communication skills (written and verbal) are necessary to help define, develop and enforce initiatives.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Quote for Service, & SFDC.
