With our Automated Test products the candidate will have opportunities to work with external customers as well as internal LM customers for all four Business Areas to provide test solutions on a variety of Lockheed Martin’s world class platforms.The WorkThe Test Equipment Solutions (TES) team is seeking a Systems Architect to lead Corporate and BA partner groups to develop and integrate program specific adaptations to our common LM-CORE™ automated test product.As a key member of our Systems Architect team you will: Lead the design and architecture of auxiliary racks for the LM-CORE™ products to meet the specific test requirements of a variety of LM platform Identify test system improvements for the LM-CORE™ product line Lead trade studies to ensure sub-component selections balance technical, cost, schedule and maintainability considerations for the unit under test and the tester product line Define and manage system interfaces Ensure horizontal integration with current program designs and the rest of the Test Equipment Solutions automated test portfolio.Who We AreWe create unparalleled readiness today and into the future, no matter what the mission may be here at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we're building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship.Basic Qualifications: Experience with systems architecture modeling tools such as Cameo Experience with system design and integration Familiarity with the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) Bachelor’s or graduate degree in engineering or related technical field Experience with agile development processes and tools Active Secret clearanceDesired Skills: Demonstrated leadership and provided direction for the future of Automated Test Equipment SME with the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program and customer – specifically with ground test equipment Demonstrated experience developing test system architectures used in ground test equipment to test missile avionics Defined architectures for Automated Test Equipment to drive expandability, modularity, and sustainability Provided labor and non-labor cost models for Automated Test Equipment of varying complexity Performed trades on various hardware platforms to determine feasibility for use on the program Demonstrated technical leadership on Automated Test Equipment error analysis Performed as Independent Review Team member as Electrical Ground Support Equipment technical expert on several program design and test readiness reviews Provided expert process oversight on program cost improvement initiatives Familiar with the operational environment of the DoD, especially the US Navy, and LM Space Systems Company Ability to respond to quickly shifting internal priorities Proficient with Cameo system modeler & Teamwork cloud Experience with JiraSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
