Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing support to our medical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services. This position involves patient follow-ups, data entry, handling electronic refill scripts, and triaging patient inquiries. If you have experience as a Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician and thrive in a high-volume contact center environment, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities

Perform follow-ups with patients and update records.

Enter patient data accurately and efficiently.

Answer inbound phone calls and provide excellent customer service.

Handle Electronic Refill Scripts (ERX) and order labs as required.

Relay lab results to patients and coordinate scheduled follow-ups.

Assist with prior authorizations and cover my meds processes.

Triage patient inquiries and provide clinical support as needed.

Essential Skills

1+ year experience in Medical Assisting or Pharmacy Technician.

1+ year experience in a high call volume environment.

High School Diploma.

Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly Athena.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

Excellent data entry skills.

Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Prior authorization experience.

Experience with ordering labs and triaging patient inquiries.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is a plus.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.

Work EnvironmentYou will be working onsite at a contact center, taking over 200 calls a day. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and holiday pay (6 paid holidays). Upon becoming a permanent employee, you will receive 9 paid holidays and 15 days of PTO, with opportunities for performance-based pay raises. Additionally, employees can earn PTO tokens for exceptional performance, which can be used at any time.
