Perform on-site inspections of accident scenes and vehicles.  Conduct ‘Black box’ data acquisition for passenger vehicles and heavy trucks.    Perform engineering analysis of traffic accidents involving cars, trucks, tractor-trailers, motorcycles, pedestrians, and other vehicles.   Investigate mechanical systems failures, including researching mechanical systems design and operation.  Perform vehicle dynamics research.       Provide technical findings, analysis, and conclusions, verbally and in writing.Travel for client meetings, field work, marketing, and business development.Maintain communication with attorney and adjuster clients and project teams on status and scope of assigned projects.Research, write, and publish technical reports and peer-reviewed publications on topics relevant to accident reconstruction and forensic engineering.Consult with attorneys and insurance adjusters on matters in litigation or pre-litigation. After gaining experience, testify as an expert witness in depositions and trials.   Maintain technical and professional knowledge related to the expert’s practice area through attending continuing education courses and workshops, attending industry/practice related seminars, reviewing relevant scientific and professional publications, and participating in professional organizations and societies.Continuously meet or exceed assigned performance metrics and goals.
