Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity in the legal industry in Orlando, Florida. The role involves paralegal duties with an emphasis on Worker's Compensation on the Claimant/Plaintiff side. The work environment will be fast-paced, requiring the ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities.Responsibilities: File petitions for benefits with precision and timeliness Draft various legal documents such as letters, pleadings, and motions Transcribe dictations efficiently and accurately Schedule hearings, depositions, and mediations in a timely manner Manage e-filing processes and ensure all files are up to date Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed and address their concerns Handle complaint administration and ensure all complaints are resolved promptly Utilize case management software to track and manage cases Manage office supplies, ensuring the office is well-stocked and operational Perform other duties as assigned, showcasing versatility and adaptability within the role. Requirements Proficiency in Case Management Software to handle and organize legal cases effectively Demonstrated ability in Calendar Management to keep track of appointments, deadlines, and court dates Experience in Claim Administration to manage and process legal claims Ability to handle Complaints professionally, maintaining the reputation of the firm Knowledge of Workers Compensation is a nust to handle cases related to workplace injuries Proficiency in e-File and e-Filing systems to manage and submit court documents electronically Ability to Draft Letters, Motions, Pleadings, and Legal Documents with accuracy and attention to detail Experience in Scheduling Depositions and Appointments, ensuring smooth workflow and time management Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and other legal professionals Excellent communication, analytical, and research skills High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with confidential information Bachelor's degree in legal studies or related field is preferred Paralegal certification or equivalent work experience in a similar role is required.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
