This individual must possess and adhere to the following core values:Integrity – Doing the right thing when no one is looking.Passion – Creating a positive impact.Work Ethic – Taking pride in your work.As a Mechanic, you will: Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to locate cause of troubleRaises vehicle, with hydraulic jack or hoist, to gain access to mechanical units bolted to underside of vehicle.Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective partsRemoves unit such as engine, transmission, or differential.Examines form and textures of parts to detect imperfection and dimensional requirementsDisassembles unit and inspects parts for wear.Repairs or replaces parts such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings.Rewires ignition system, lights, and instrument panel.Install special functional and structural parts and devicesReplaces and adjusts headlights, and installs and repairs accessories such as mirrors and tiresLubricate and clean partsMaintain golf carts and bicyclesStart devices to test performanceKeep daily log to track repairsSets up and operates drill press, grinder, torches, welder and other metal working toolsKeep a preventive maintenance program on both golf carts and bicycles
