This role plays a critical part in executing external affairs initiatives, managing high-profile issues, and responding to crises. The ideal candidate has a strong background in crisis communications, stakeholder engagement, and online reputation management and will work closely with cross-functional teams to protect and enhance the company’s reputation.How You'll Shine:Issues & Crisis Management Monitor and assess potential risks to the company’s reputation, providing recommendations and response plans. Support the execution of crisis communications strategies, ensuring alignment with business priorities and legal considerations. Act as a key liaison in coordinating crisis responses, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. Draft holding statements, key messages, FAQs, and executive talking points during crisis situations. Maintain and update the company’s crisis communications playbook to ensure readiness.Reputation Management & Industry Engagement Assist in managing the company’s online reputation, monitoring sentiment, and identifying trends that may impact brand perception.Stakeholder & External Communications Assist in developing messaging and communication strategies that effectively position the company among key external stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Public Relations, Government Affairs, and Legal, to ensure consistency in external messaging. Draft statements, press materials, presentations and briefing documents for leadership on external affairs matters. Manage key external affairs content, including fact sheets, position papers, and messaging frameworks.Government Affairs & Community Affairs Support Work closely with the Government Affairs and Community Affairs teams to ensure external communications align with policy positions and community engagement efforts. Assist in preparing communication materials related to legislative and regulatory issues.What You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or a related field. This role requires a detail-oriented, solutions-driven communicator who can handle fast-paced, high-stakes situations with professionalism and strategic thinking. The ability to work under pressure and meet very tight deadlines is required. 10+ years of experience in issues management, crisis communications, or corporate reputation management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.How You'll Be Rewarded:We offer a diverse range of comprehensive health and welfare benefits to associates who work 30 or more hours per week to meet your needs and support you throughout your career with us.
