Responsibilities Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. Job Duties/Responsibilities
Requests clinical information on potential patients;
Initiates verification of insurance coverage to determine viability of insurance for individuals seeking admission;
Coordinates admissions with all necessary unit staff and Physician;
Follows EMTALA regulations and identifies high risk individuals presenting for emergency care

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse.
(6) months in psychiatric nursing (preferred)
Knowledge of current nursing procedure
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
Current CPR Certification required
