Accounting Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Orlando, Florida. The role is centered around managing the accounts receivable process, maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring the accuracy of invoicing and customer payments. The role is ideally suited for someone with a strong background in accounting principles and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Responsibilities: Generate and send out invoices to clients accurately and promptly Monitor accounts receivable aging to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes with clients Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve payment issues Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness Prepare and maintain accounts receivable reports and records Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts receivable Maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate prompt payment and address any concerns Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline accounts receivable operations Utilize Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for accounting functions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing functions.
