SummaryThis position follows established DevSecOps engineering processes to ensure secure and efficient software development for a program developing complex military training solutions. The right candidate will support the design and implement solutions for infrastructure and security requirements and assist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, the position maintains service uptime, troubleshoots issues, and works closely with developers and security teams. Required skills include proficiency in DevSecOps toolkits (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Git), VM and container management experience (e.g. VSphere, Docker), and familiarity with information security frameworksEssential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Maintains multiple automation and orchestration technologies.

Creates and configures flexible solutions for development, delivery, security, operations, and oversight teams.

Assists the team with optimizing system uptime and performance.

Deploy and maintain upstream Kubernetes and supports Kubernetes distribution management.

Serves as an engineer for complex implementations in an agile, end user-centric environments.

Ensures developers have the best tools available to perform their function.

Evaluates, deploys, and manages multiple infrastructure management tools including infrastructure optimization and orchestration solutions.

Uses agile and DevSecOps (DevOps) practices to support designing and delivering dynamic capabilities.

Articulates and implements a balanced approach to security and agility.

Required Skills

Experience with maintaining multiple automation and orchestration technologies.

Experience with creating and configuring flexible solutions for development, delivery, security, operations, and oversight teams.

Experience with optimization techniques to ensure system uptime, security, and performance are maximized.

Experience serving as an engineer for complex implementations in an agile, end user-centric environment.

Experience with identifying the best tools to support developers enabling enhanced system uptime and performance.

Experience with assessing, deploying, and managing multiple infrastructure management tools including infrastructure optimization and orchestration solutions.

Experience in agile and DevSecOps (DevOps) practices.

Experience with designing and delivering dynamic capabilities, while clearly articulating and implementing a balanced approach to security and agility.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong presentation skills, with an ability to design, develop and deliver high-quality deliverables created through collaboration.

Skills and Requirements

4 years of related DevSecOps engineer work experience

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. LocationOrlando, FloridaTravel No travel is expected. Required Education and Experience Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other Scientific/Technical discipline.
