8AM-12:15 PM on Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri
Wednesday Off
plus either Saturday and/or Sunday during a tournament weekend, which day can be negotiated. There will be 6 tournaments, 3 out of town all driving distance during June and July.
Entries and all expenses to all Tournaments are covered incl food/gas/stay in case of hotel stay.
Looking for a young enthusiastic person that’s played JUCO or higher level ball to mentor/train/coach highly skilled teenage players currently playing high level travel ball and/or HS ball. Hire will be involved in co-creating a complete baseball program encompassing weight training, drills for speed, agility, cardio, and of course baseball drills I.e. batting and fielding reps. also throwing drills, etc. No pitching. Approx 40-45 min each discipline/day and 5-10 minute breaks in between but all this is still under creation and much is up for discussion still and any and all input from hire will be taken into account and highly considered.
Again hire will be coaching approximately 4 to a max of 6 players in 13u-16u Intermediate/Advanced travel ball/high school starters position players which will be by invite only to the program.
Schedule was created to consider and allow afternoons and evening open for hire's personal training clients and/or 2nd job.
Skills:
Leader, self motivated, resourceful, extensive baseball experience even if not as a coach. Timely, organized, respectful to other coaches and the kids. No swearing, chewing tobacco nor smoking around kids. In short no bad habits of any kind. Dugout etiquette is also something we want to train in. Start 8 but even earlier if preferred to avoid summer heat/rain. Spanish speaking a plus.
Pay $500 cash per week
