Position: Community Outreach Ambassador (part time and as needed)
Location: Orlando, FL 32806
Hours: Varies depending on outreach events - must be flexible. Schedule will be provided at least 1 week in advance and must be available to work during evenings and weekends
Pay Rate: $17/hr.

Community Outreach Ambassador Responsibilities:
- Engage with community members at various events, including schools, civic organizations, and public gatherings, to promote voter registration and participation.
- Assist in staffing outreach events, ensuring to cover the event from beginning to end.
- Provide information about the voting process, registration deadlines, and election dates.
- Protect the confidentiality of registration, Vote-by-Mail requests, ballots and/or any additional private information.
- Assist with imaging, processing mail, and processing petitions.
- Conduct supervised voting at assisted living facilities and nursing homes, by delivering ballots and helping voters update voter information.
What will you need as a Community Outreach Ambassador?
- Be available to work during evenings and weekends, as outreach events often occur outside regular business hours.
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with the public and on a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours are essential.
- Always maintain a professional and nonpartisan manner.
- A current valid Florida driver license is required.
