The Hospitality Associate I acts as a representative for the Food and Nutrition Services Department. The main objective is to assist patients with food and beverage needs, meal selection, and to deliver meals in a timely manner. Duties and Responsibilities Meal Time and Preparation

Prepare all cold food items and condiments according to the Tally Guide as written per meal; ensure meal trays are accurate, presentation is appealing and temperature is correct upon delivery; prepare and delivery trays in a timely manner; ensure patients are satisfied with meals and service. Patient Menu Selection

Take patient’s orders at the designated times; cater to each patient’s dietary orders, preferences and feedback; communicate any notes to nursing staff, dietitians, and managers. Organization

Adhere to designated Job Flow; maintain organization and cleanliness throughout each shift; prioritize tasks as necessary. Teamwork

Assist other team members with daily tasks; assist managers to ensure efficient operation of the food service department; ask for help when necessary; communicate clearly and effectively. Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.

Education: No degree required.

Must obtain the Municipality of Orange Park Food Handler Card within 21 Days of Hire

Applicable work experience preferred.
