Description Our client seeks an Accounting Clerk to join their expanding team in a Direct permanent Position.Responsibilities:
Execute manual processing tasks, including the handling of paper checks received by the organization.
Ensure the accurate processing of invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Record transactions meticulously, managing estoppels, debits, and credits.
Enter invoices promptly and precisely into the accounting system.
Collaborate with colleagues to resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices or payments.
Maintain comprehensive and current records of financial transactions.
Provide support for other accounting tasks and special projects as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; preference for an associate's degree in accounting or related field.
Prior experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in manual processing procedures.
Experience with Real Estate accounting is highly advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures.
Experience with paper-based accounting processes is beneficial.
