Apply Today!Job Summary and QualificationsPay timely and accurately according to hospital/departmental policies and procedures. Implement processes to facilitate distributing of time and attendance information. Prepare all regulatory forms timely and accurately. Assists accounting staff in month-end processing and account reconciliation.

Prepares journal entries required to complete the hospitals monthly financial close and research the questions regarding close.

Prepares all other journal entries as required to post changes to General Ledger.

Labels journal entries and maintenance transactions.

Reconciles inter-company invoice monthly.

Prepares all account analysis requested by controller.

Assists with the reparation of all packages required by HCA reimbursement and internal audit departments.

Assists in preparing data required by the Hospital Cost Containment board or other internal or external entities.

Assists in gathering information during for all audits.

Processes all necessary paper for data entry to enter payroll adjustments (ie,m rate changes, commission, tuition reimbursement, retro pay,PTO cash in’s, etc.).

Reconciles all bank accounts monthly.

Reconciles all clearing accounts in the accordance with the time schedule established by the Controller.

Prepares payroll related check request.

Maintains and balances all prepaid and maintenance ledgers, adding new purchases and preparing journal entries to expense proper amounts according to hospital policy.

Record deposits in transfer log and keys in transfers on DP systems.

Distributes payroll checks and labor distribution reports etc. to department directors.

Performs petty cash audits as assigned.

Performs other duties as requested by the Controller.

Responsible for reconciling and maintaining bank statements and accounts.

Responsible for completion of the entries.

Maintains non-patient accounts receivable.

Transmit daily deposits.

Maintains business records according to legal and state requirements.

Completes special projects as assigned.

Maintains Industrial accounts and statements.

Maintains patient day reconciliation.

Inputs all deduction and earning category changes in a timely manner.

Print Kronos timesheet on payroll Monday and deliver to department managers for approval and/or corrections.

Ensures all final timesheets are approved by proper personnel.

Makes list of those not in compliance.

Input corrections or changes in Kronos system that cannot be corrected by department manager or time clocks.

Verify all required reports were printed by Data Processing Department.

Submits requests for A/P payments on all payroll related deductions.

Prepares manual checks accurately. Ensures proper documentation is attached.

Logs all checks used and for what purpose.

Answers professionally all payroll questions.

Accurately maintains the Kronos System files.

Train the department heads, supervisors on the Kronos systems full screen editor punch corrections.

Maintains necessary information needed for Medicare audit.

What qualifications you will need:

High School Graduate / GED

1 year of experience

Schedule is Monday-Friday, day shift with weekends as needed for month end close.
