Freelance Newspaper Correspondent, part-time (Niceville, FL)

Beacon Newspapers, Niceville, FL, seeks a freelance reporter to cover meetings of government agencies in Niceville, Valparaiso, and elsewhere in Okaloosa County, part-time. Also possible is coverage of human-interest stories. You must be available most nights or most evenings. We pay $30 per story and $5 per photo, when published. Nonfiction writing experience is essential, as are a home computer and a reliable vehicle. Some reporting and photo experience helpful, but not required.
