Job Summary:
Eagle Medical is seeking compassionate and dependable Support Specialists to join our team, providing care both in our residential group homes and one-on-one with individuals in their personal homes. You will provide personal support and daily assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live with greater independence, safety, and dignity. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Support individuals with daily routines and independent living skills
Help with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping duties
Accompany clients on community outings and recreational activities
Monitor safety and emotional well-being in a respectful and encouraging way
Follow individualized care plans and complete required documentation
Communicate observations and concerns to supervisors promptly
Maintain a positive and structured home environment
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
Must be compassionate, reliable, and patient
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and remain calm under pressure
Must pass a Level 2 background screening and have reliable transportation
CPR, First Aid, and relevant certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
