Service Writer

The Service Writer works with customers to document vehicle problems and schedule automotive repair service with the service team. The Service Writer is needed to do the following task but not limited to the following task:Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcure parts needed for repairs and enter all information into Fleet database for accurate billing.Answer incoming service callsMaintain and schedule service appointmentsTrack repair status and update customersRun errands as necessary (picking up parts, dropping off materials, transporting vehicles)Deliver parts and run errands for mechanics, as directedMaintain other duties as directed by the foremen & mechanicsPicking up and dropping off clients as neededInteract with clients and/or visitors in a professional, courteous, and problem-solving mannerAssist with the upkeep of the inventory system in placePrioritize multiple tasks and efficiently complete tasks to ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment
