Title: Class 8 Semi-Truck Technician (Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic)

We are currently seeking a Class 8 technician skilled in diagnosing and repairing both electrical and mechanical systems on heavy-duty diesel trucks. As our workload increases, we need a reliable technician to join our team. We specialize in light and heavy-duty diesel trucks, and compensation will be based on experience. Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and advanced diagnostics using tools such as Cummins INSITE, Navistar Service Maxx , PACCAR Davie4, Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link (DDDL) and JPRO Professional Diagnostic Software.

Troubleshoot and repair after-treatment systems (DPF, SCR), air ride suspension systems, and trailer components

Conduct welding and fabrication

Maintain accurate service records and ensure workspaces are clean and organized.

Collaborate effectively with team members and fleet managers to ensure timely and high-quality service.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic; at least 2 years with heavy-duty trucks preferred.

Own tools and a valid driver’s license.

Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and strong troubleshooting skills.

Preferred certifications: ASE Medium-Heavy or OEM-specific training.

Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, twisting, kneeling, and performing strenuous tasks.

Team-oriented, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.

Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.

Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
