Village Air and Electric INC is now hiring for the shop worker/driver position. Our current shop worker is being promoted within the company, and we will be needing to re-man the position. The shop workers duties consist of but are not limited to, keeping the shop organized and clean, taking in deliveries, stocking our materials, labelling our materials, keeping offices clean, emptying trash, maintaining company equipment and vehicles, helping electricians and hvac personnel with getting the material needed in the morning, loading and unloading materials from trucks, delivering materials to job sites, keeping up with ordering materials and products for the shop, etc.
This is a basic breakdown of what is needed from our shop worker. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour. Raises are according to work ethic. Top out pay (after raises) for this position is $20.00 per hour. There is room for advancement as we promote from within. Our current shop guy has only been in his position for 2 months and has proven himself and is being promoted.
