Position Overview: We are seeking skilled and dedicated Building Installers to join our team that covers an area from Jacksonville to Tampa Bay, although most jobs are located in central Florida. As a Building Installer, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and installation of our prefabricated buildings on-site. You will work collaboratively with other members of the crew to ensure that buildings are assembled safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
Transport prefabricated building components to job sites.
Assemble prefabricated building components according to manufacturer instructions and construction plans.
Install walls, gables, trusses, windows, doors, and other structural elements.
Ensure that all installations comply with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Provide assistance and support to other team members as needed and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in construction or carpentry, with specific experience in roofing, siding, framing preferred.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.
Strong carpentry skills and knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Compensation:
Team members are paid a generous piece rate. Average gross is between $900-$1300 per week.
