Job Summary
Candidate must be a self-starter, have the ability to work independently, and have the ability to multi-task. Candidate must greet and provide customer service to members and patrons of the golf course and process transactions for all purchases.
Responsibilities and Duties
Operate cash register and receive payment from customer in cash, debit, or credit card, and accurately count and provide change when applicable;
Balance cash drawer at end of shift and process closing reports;
Provide excellent customer service to members and general public/groups;
Handling all administrative functions including answering telephone, general cleaning, maintaining inventory;
Assist with booking tee times;
Ensure shop is prepared for proper opening and closing each day;
Perform other duties as assigned by Pro Shop Manager;
Have flexible work schedule with the ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Qualifications and Skills
A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required
Basic computer knowledge
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as cashier is preferred
Prior experience at other golf courses a plus
Knowledge in the game of golf and golfing experience a plus
Must be neat and professional in appearance and demeanor
Must have good communication skills for answering the phone and attending the members and patrons of the golf course
Must have a basic working knowledge of general office equipment
Job Type: Full time, 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $14+/hour, based on experience
