Leasing Consultant Responsibilities:
Sources new prospects through networking, cold calling, and general marketing.
Implements a leasing plan, which may include but is not limited to, marketing the property, calling prospective tenants, site selection, negotiating build-out costs, and market studies.
Works closely with ownership, tenants, and prospects on leasing.
Tracks performance goals of the properties and leasing activity.
Prepares leasing pipeline reports and business plans for their portfolio with creative and aggressive marketing ideas.
Prepares strategic leasing plans for the property.
Assist with and manage tenant delinquency
Help show apartments and process applications for prospective residents
Initiate and assist with all lease renewals
Helps execute promotional and markdown activity on a timely basis and according to Company guidelines
Inspect and maintain vacant units on an as-needed basis
Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality to ensure all essential duties are fulfilled to a satisfactory level
Other duties may be assigned as needed
