We are seeking a skilled and motivated Autobody Collision / Automotive Technician to join our team on a per-job/piece-work basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle disassembly, body repair, paint and automotive maintenance—electrical, mechanical, engine and front end. Key Responsibilities:
Complete full disassembly of vehicles to assist in assessing damage and preparing repair plans.
Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and other vehicle parts as necessary to gain access to damaged areas. Ensure proper storage or protection of parts.
Repair damaged vehicle bodies.
Remove and replace damaged fenders, panels, grills, and other vehicle components.
Assist auto painters with sanding, priming, and painting processes.
Diagnose and repair vehicle defects and perform routine maintenance, including tune-ups.
Assisting with shop duties such as washing cars or cleaning.
Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Punctuality: Must be reliable and arrive on time.
Driver’s License: A valid license is required.
Must Have Tools
Willingness to learn and take direction from more experienced team members.
Some prior experience in automotive body collision repair, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment is an advantage.
Detail-Oriented: Strong focus on meeting deadlines with precision.
Schedule: Per Contract/ Job – Generally, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, Fridays as needed.
