Must be comfortable with traumatic ear nose and throat procedures; including but not limited to:
repair to external ears
assisting in complex facial trauma with ophthalmologists, neurosurgeons and / or plastic surgeons
laryngotracheal injuries
Adult only in the hospital setting
Board eligibility or board certification required
Preferred candidates will have relevant experience
The incoming provider will focus mainly on trauma and emergent / acute ear, nose and throat procedures
Hospital-based
Managing inpatient consults
Rounding on patients
Manage follow-up clinic
Share the month with another dedicated otolaryngologist in an on / off schedule
HCA Florida Ocala Hospital’s trauma program is the area’s only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center servicing 5 counties and over 1M residents. It is also a teaching hospital for the University of Central Florida and hosts the UCF/HCA residency consortium.
