Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description: Process Accounts Payable by matching invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports and inputting them into the Accounts Payable system. Process Accounts Payable checks as scheduled. Act as primary backup for Payroll, using E-time Software System. Audit freight bills paid by an outside service vendor. Prepare monthly department spending reports. Analyze vendor accounts and negotiate extended terms with vendors under unusual circumstances. File invoices. Assist with special projects as assigned. Process invoices, reconcile statements, and maintain inboxes for each account. Handle internal invoices, answer payment-related questions, and manage indexing inbox. Perform three-way matching.Qualifications:

2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience

Experience in the manufacturing field a plus but not required

Experience with three-way matching a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Excel
