Niceville, FL, USA | Full Time Job Title: Range Mission Coordinator Location: Eglin AFB, FL (On-Site) Canvas provides engineering services and technical solutions for customers in federal and commercial markets. Duties:

Assist the 96th Operations Support Squadron, Special Programs Flight in the development and management of the Eglin Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) test and training range mission operations.

Provide program management support for Eglin MRTFB test, training, and exercise programs under 96 TW processes by assisting with program planning, mission priority, range resource assignments, operations and control center coordination, mission submittals, frequency analysis, mission deconfliction and mission execution.

Use the 96 Test Wing Center Scheduling Enterprise (CSE) system to deconflict and coordinate mission requirements using land test and training ranges, warning and restricted airspace, and other 96 TW resources.

Provide guidance and recommendations to range users to promote efficient use of range resources, adequate mission time to meet objectives, and minimal resource conflicts to ensure maximum productivity and mission effectiveness.

Communicate with personnel from USAF, US Navy, US Army, Air Force Research Lab, USSOCOM, other DOD and non-DOD test and training organizations to provide range scheduling assistance and discuss range and mission requirements prior to mission submittal deadlines.

Participate in meetings and briefings to discuss high priority and complex events, major resource requirements, limiting factors, and range use issues and concerns.

Assist Mission planners with mission resource requirements to ensure valid and accurate mission priorities and definitions prior to submittal deadlines.

Provide real-time support to test and training missions in progress, including input on range safety, land range requirements changes, maximization of limited range resources, and coordination with Eglin Mission Control on airspace issues.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in applicable discipline; Master's degree desired. Years of experience may be substituted for education requirement, per customer approval.

3-10 years of relevant experience.

Must possess a valid drivers license, able to operate a government vehicle.

Highly proficient with computers and software applications, expert attention-to-detail & highly organized.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work with diverse group of people, handling multiple projects at once.

Knowledge of 96 Test Wing range operations and scheduling process. Familiarity with special forces operations desired.

Familiarity with military range operating procedures desired.

Experience with Army Missions from Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS) and CSE highly desired.

Security Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret security clearance.

Other Essential Job Functions:

Duties may be required outside normal business hours based on mission and customer requirements.
