This Bookkeeper role will be located in the Naples, Florida area and will be a permanent position. You will direct the month-end closing, reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable as the Bookkeeper. As well, the Bookkeeper will stay on top of a general ledger reconciliation, perform data entry, light journal entries, cash applications, and full cycle A/P coding. Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Secondary assignment when necessary
Keep general ledger updated
Update Accounts Payable
Catalog sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Experience with Accounts Receivable
Administer monthly accounting close
Draw up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Knowledgeable in credit card management and reconciliation
Create cash flow projections, as needed
Help with monthly accounting close
Requirements
Previous accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Strong organization skills
Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions
Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Basic Bookkeeping experience
